About

This is a group for anyone interested in fighting the rise of authoritarianism in America, standing up for our collective and individual liberties, and advocating for our representative system of government that has come under assault in recent years. Indeed, we awoke on November 9th, 2016 to a world that was much more dangerous and uncertain than on the day before, and many of us were left wondering what we could do in response. How could we channel our anger, our fear, our despair, and our hopelessness into productive action?

“It is my hope that this group will help empower our community during these troubling times…”

government, states’ rights, the separation of powers, and checks and balances. To resist the attacks on our freedoms and system, and the relentless propaganda from the incoming administration, we're going to have to become effective, compassionate advocates for our Republic. This is the only way to ensure that our friends, family, and neighbors don’t get sucked into a warped and un-American vision of the future. Third, the group will provide a forum for civic-minded people to get to know each other, become friends, and think about types of activism they can get involved in.

If you have any suggestions about the different kinds of events we should hold or about the group in general, feel free to contact me over email at daniemiller@gmail.com. It is important to note, this is non-partisan group. Anyone is welcome regardless of party affiliation.

I hope to meet many of you in the coming weeks, months, and years.

Best,

Daniel Miller
