We the People March--Solidarity Rally in Philadelphia
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: It is going to be hot on the day of the Rally with a high of 87 degrees. So please bring water. Hydration is really important. Also, bringing something to snack on might be a good idea. Even a cookie or something else like that could work.
This is a peaceful, non-violent, inclusive, pro-democracy rally. But like any rally or political protest, please stay aware. And please do not engage with anyone who might try and be disruptive. Keep an eye on each other and your surroundings. We are all in this together.

On September 21st in Washington, D.C., there is going to be a massive We the People March. It could be huge and rival the Women's Marches of 2017 and 2018.
The mission statement of this march is clear: We the People are marching to be seen and heard. We are marching to remind our elected officials that they work for us. We are marching because the current presidential administration is a threat to our democracy and values. We are marching to demand accountability.
There are also going to be other We the People marches and rallies happening across the country on that day.
I am helping to organize and plan the Philadelphia rally. Note, this is a rally, NOT a march. More details are forthcoming. But I am really excited about this.
Sustained, mass, non-violent protest is a key way we can fight back against the authoritarianism that is destroying our democracy. We need PEOPLE POWER in this country. If we come together, we can affect real change.
